What to prepare before entering Korea

Check the entry process through the Korean diplomatic mission in your country

STEP2

Get a visa or K-ETA

  • Apply for a Korean visa or K-ETA
  • Due to the COVID-19 situation, Korea has temporarily suspended the visa-free and visa-waiver program and has officially implemented the Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) system.
    Visa-free travelers must check for eligibility and apply for K-ETA in advance to enter Korea. Travelers who are not eligible for K-ETA are required to apply for a visa. Visit the K-ETA website for details.

STEP3

Get a Negative COVID-19 PCR Test Result Certificate

  • All travelers must provide a Negative COVID-19 PCR Test Result Certificate from a PCR test taken within 48 hours or RAT within 24 hours prior to departure date. Travelers without a negative COVID-19 PCR/RAT test result cannot get on the plane.
STEP4

Register traveler’s information system ’Q-code’

  • Complete implementation for travelers arriving at International Airport
